About the Book
Cassie McAllister miraculously survived an attack by her ex-husband. Hidden in the attic, she finds a century-old diary. Upon reading from the charmed book, she’s thrust back in time to 1890, into the life of Annie McDonald.
Trapped in Annie’s life, Cassie meets Carrington Chambers, a local farmer with a murderous reputation. Annie is smitten, but Cassie is wary of his dark nature—and with good reason. She’s unaware that Annie mysteriously dies soon after the couple wed.
Back in the attic, Cassie is shocked when she encounters Carrington again—only now he’s a ghost. He seeks revenge and redemption and wants Cassie’s help getting both or risk eternity stuck in limbo. Cassie’s affection for Carrington grows, in two different centuries, as she gets dangerously close to deadly secrets about Annie’s demise.
Will she prevail and free the man she can never truly have? Or will fate intervene and claim yet another victim?

Originally from Idaho, she moved to Colorado over 20 years ago, twelve of those spent in a small mountain community in the Rockies where the oxygen is noticeably thinner.
She's since moved off the mountain and now calls herself a flatlander.
She loves to read, write, garden, and travel but doesn't get to do the latter as much as she'd like. But when she does, every place she visits brings new potential for another story!
