She worked for many years in rural Wyoming where she encountered the stoic nature of people living small towns and on the Wind River Reservation.
Her debut novel, Last Seen: A Dr. Pepper Hunt Mystery, won a Finalist Award in the Next Generation Indie Awards and a Distinguished Favorite in the Independent Press Awards in 2017.
