About the Book

Xen Lyson is the head of the Phi Athanatoi, a group of immortals who have been protecting man for over 2,000 years from the Kakodiamones--demons who want nothing more than to feast on humanity.
Thrown face to face with Xen during a skirmish with the demons, Carissa becomes a pawn in the deadly game of a demi-god who seeks godly powers.

Reviews (Excerpts)
- "Efthalia delivers an action packed book with well-researched Greek mythology. Carissa Alkippes doesn't know as the daughter of a God that she has powers. When she comes face to face with Xen Lyson, the head of the Phi Athanatoi she is plunged into an immortal world where she has to learn who to trust to survive." - Cathleen Ross
- "[...] Efthalia has imbued the action with a great hint of humour as well, and there were several times I found myself laughing out loud. I really loved the liberal use of Greek words and terminology woven into the story. Some of these words I knew (let's face it, they were the dirtier terms), and there were some that I didn't know that well. If you are bewildered by the Greek terms and words used throughout the book, there's a glossary at the end of the book that will really help. Phantasma is a brilliant debut effort and a fantastic first book in the Phi Athanatoi series." - Roz (Amazon)
- "[...] some of the terms were 'all Greek to me' it was great to find a handy glossary of Greek vocabulary in the back of the book. Well-researched and with a compelling Greek flavour, Phantasma is an excellent debut. " - P.Wilson (Amazon)
- "[...] a real page turner, leaving me at the end to say...what is going to happen next, cannot wait. The relevance to Greek modern life combining the fantasy world as well as intertwining the chaos of the humanist profiles of the Greek Gods keeps you captivated." - Jim Pegios
