About the Book
Our heroine, Acadia King, is a forty-two-year old woman that is strong, independent, and full of blunt, dark humor. Acadia lost the love of her life two years previous and has spiraled down into a deep depression.
At the start of Acadia's Law, she's finally coming out of her depression enough to think about starting a new life. At her first attempt to rejoin the dating world, Acadia meets a gorgeous younger man named Rod at a bar. The attraction is instantaneous and very mutual, but unfortunately, fate intervenes again because that bar also happens to be ground zero for a violent viral epidemic that is going to change the entire world as they know it!
The race is on!
Not only does Acadia have to prepare for the unthinkable to save her farm, family, and friends, she has to contend with the relentless pursuit of a much younger, alpha hottie while doing so!
