For many years she was a closet writer, lacking the encouragement she needed that she could become a successful author. During those years, she grew up, got married, raised a daughter, and had several businesses, before breaking down and buying her first computer. It was the encouragement from her grown daughter, and niece, after discovering her secret and reading something she wrote, that gave her the encouragement to submit to a publisher. Her first book Cupid's Arrow, under her real name Debbie Wallace, was on the publisher's best sellers list for two months!
Tory has since retired from Disney, moved in with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren, devoting her time to family, and writing. And the rest, as they say, is history!
