Until My Soul Gets It Right (Book 2 of the Bilbliophile Series) follows farm girl Catherine Elbert as she escapes her hometown of Burkesville, Wisconsin, and finds herself in Portland, Maine, with interesting consequences. It’s a book about growing up, making peace with one’s past, and learning a little about life and love along the way.
The Book has been self-published and is available as eBook on Amazon, B&N, and Kobo - 294 pages - released in May 2012.

Catherine Elbert has never been good at making decisions, whether it was choosing an ice cream flavor as a small child, or figuring out what she wanted to be when she grew up. The only thing Catherine knew for sure was there had to be more to life than being stuck on her family’s farm in Wisconsin.
While watching a PBS travel show, Catherine becomes entranced by Portland, Maine. The ocean. The lobsters. The rugged coast. Nothing could be more different from the flat, nondescript farmlands of Burkesville.
Despite her parents threatening to disown her and her brothers taking bets on how many days until she comes home, Catherine settles on Peaks Island, off the coast of Portland.
She is finally free.
Or so she thought...

Karen is the author of The Bibliophiles series, which centers around members of a fictional suburban book club. Unlike most series, which follow one character through various adventures, this series is a little different. Each book club member "stars" in his or her own novel. Readers get to explore their backstories and what made them the people they are when they join the book club.
For example, the first novel, A Whisper to a Scream (The Bibliophiles: Book One), features overwhelmed, stay-at-home mom, Sarah, and Annie, a P.R. executive dealing with fertility issues. When they meet through the book club, each thinks the other's life is so much better than her own. But, ultimately, they learn otherwise.
The second, Until My Soul Gets It Right (The Bibliophiles: Book Two), follows farm girl Catherine Elbert as she bounces from US coast to coast in search of her true self.
Karen Wojcik Berner has begun writing some scenes and compiling notes for the third Bibliophiles book, which is untitled right now, about two more book club members, Thaddeus, a computer programmer and anglophile, and Spring, the daughter of leftover hippies who runs a juice bar.
She will also releasing a digital holiday short November 1st. “Sarah and Annie: A Bibliophiles’ Christmas” will feature the two main characters from her first book.
