About Rebecca Hamilton
Rebecca Hamilton writes Paranormal Fantasy, Horror, and Literary Fiction. She lives in Florida with her husband and three kids, along with multiple writing personalities that range from morbid to literary. Rebecca is fascinated with everything Salem.
Rebecca's fascination with the Salem Witch Trials started the second she heard about it, sometime in school. Rebecca guesses it was when she read the Crucible, but it might have been before that.
When Rebecca writes, she finds a blank sheet of paper is the best way to start. Sometimes she might have a few notes at the top of the page of things she wants to include in the scene, and does usually have a general idea when she start, but Rebecca finds it impossible to know what scene 2 will be until after she's written scene 1. As she writes, though, she gets lots of ideas, but never knows for sure how it turns out until she gets there.
The Forever Girl Volume 1 is published through Immortal Ink Publishing, of which Rebecca is one of the co-founders. Therefore, Forever Girl can be seen as self-published.

Readers and Fans are waiting for Volume 2 !
Volume 2 in the Forever Girl Series comes out in January 2013, but Rebecca will release a novella mid year this year to hold her readers and fans over. Rebecca has three kids and their dreams to keep in mind, too, so she has to pace herself.
She enjoys dancing with her kids to television show theme songs and would love the beach if it weren’t for the sand. Having a child diagnosed with autism has inspired her to illuminate the world through the eyes of characters who see things differently.

But can she trust him?
It's not until someone nearly kills Sophia that she realizes the only way to unveil the source of her family's curse: abandon her faith or abandon her humanity. If she wants to survive, she must accept who she is, perform dark magic, and fight to the death for her freedom.

Reviews (Excerpts)
- "It is very beautifully written in a fresh and distinctive voice. Rather than the author's voice getting in the way, Ms. Hamilton's style draws you into the story and the setting, so you really feel that you are on the same journey as Sophia, right by her side. This is a very talented writer.
The characters are well thought out, believable and invoked real emotions in me, whether I loved or hated them. [...]
The dialog was strong and realistic, and true to each character. The author really got into the head of each one, it shows.
The story unfolds with good pacing and suspense,[...] And it's a rich and fantastic world of ancient feuding creatures. Wonderfully realized." - Graeme Ing

- " [...] Rebecca Hamilton has created a whole new take on the vampire (and other critter) genre. Her mythos is intricate and completely original in my experience, but remains easily accessible. As the reader discovers this new world alongside Sophie (the protagonist), they are skillfully eased into the experience. Layer upon layer, the world is built for us as we are lead deeper into its labyrinthine paths. [...]" - Brandon Luffman
- "[...]The Forever Girl is a extremely great read, filled will urban fantasy and paranormal romance. The characters were well written and interesting. The entire book held my interest and I enjoyed Rebecca's writing style. The story was fresh, original, and exciting. I love that the romance wasn't instant "love at first sight" and that it took some time to develop. [...]" - B. Smith
